Chris Guest
Based in: London
Bright, daring, and colourful, Guest's oil works depict a diverse community of tattooed individuals, each one possessing their own story and personality. Merging together the past and present, from the retro, “pin-up” type characters to the urban-style painting, his art has been featured in multiple magazines and galleries globally, and is sought for by collectors around the world.
Jack Penny
Based in: Bosham
One of the main characteristics of contemporary art is the thought-provoking nature of its pieces; Penny aims to challenge the belief that modern society will last. As someone who lives in the countryside, his chaotic and haphazard paintings of city life portray how he views it to be. Penny attempts to be spontaneous and impulsive with his work, and this produces the distinct style he's known for.
Liza giles
Based in: London
Inspired by her city's skyline and architecture, Liza Giles likes to create huge compositions using multiple giant canvases. Filled with hard, straight edges, and smooth, feathered curves, her abstract technique allows her to reconfigure her paintings and place them together, creating various patterns and shapes for her audience to explore. Her artwork was first exhibited at the Flowers Gallery, in the summer of 2022.
Ross Bonfanti
Based in: Toronto, Canada
A sculptor working primarily with cement, random hardware items, and found soft toys, Bonfanti is constantly trying to find the midpoint between two seemingly opposing planes. He experiments with weight and texture, through the heavy concrete and fluffy fabric, and addresses how often the old is changed and “fortified” for modernity. Bonfanti's sculptures are very popular amongst major collectors in the UK and US.
Barbara Macfarlane
Based in: West Middlesex
Captivated by the beauty of natural terrain, Macfarlane has travelled the world to create her art. Working on handmade paper, with an assortment of mediums - watercolour, oil paints, ink - she explores the shape, contours, and essence of the land, and translates them into drawing form. She's held exhibitions in the Royal Academy in London, the Grand Palais in Paris, and with a clothing designer in New York.
Karen hackenberg
Based in: Seattle
In her current painting and drawing and series, a traditional technique of oil paint, gouache, and coloured pencil is used to create beach scenes illustrating man-made waste composed intriguingly. She frequently uses the shore and its debris outside her apartment as reference; this collection emanates a strong environmental message and call to action. Hackenberg has been published in countless magazines, has held numerous exhibitions regarding both art and the environment, and is featured in many large gallery collections.
